Hill finished 7th in this well-worn Ferrari.  The car had won the LeMans 24 hour race earlier in the year, driven by Paul Frere  and Olivier Gendebein, and competed in other European events.  It badly needed a refurbishing but didn't get one and Hill struggled with a slipping clutch  and limped in to finish 7th.
