Briggs Cunningham entered this Jaguar factory prototype at LeMans with Dan Gurney and Walt Hansgen driving.  It DNF'd.  Cunningham continued to campaign it in US events and brought it to Caliornia for the big pro races.  At Riverside reigning (and soon to win the title again) World Champion Brabham struggled with the over-sized and overweight endurance racer and finished 10th.
