“Elva 50th Anniversary at Sebring. “ March 12-14, 2008

The SVRA Vintage Races at Sebring March 12-15, 2008, will honor the 50th Anniversary of Elva sports racers at Sebring. In 1958, M.R.J. “Doc" Wyllie, Chuck Dietrich, Burdie Martin, Willard "Rip" Ripley, Bill Milliken, Cameron Argentsinger, John Bentley, Frank Baptista, and other pioneers of American sports car racers entered Elva MK II and MK III racers in the 12-Hour race. Their history and these cars will be saluted in March 2008 during three days of racing and social events. 

ALL Elvas Marks 1 thru VII, Couriers and Elva Fr Jr’s to take part in the racing on Sebring’s famous 4-mile track. Elva cars will share paddock space. There will also be a Reception for present and former Elva drivers, display of selected Elvas in the Gallery Tent, and for selected Elvas an escorted drive to downtown Sebring and Exhibition Laps. Elva entrants from overseas will be granted complimentary entry.
