(8-8-08)  From George Keck:

"This update is provided for history buffs... and others that may be interested.

A lead from Canadian Historian Bob LeFlufy has given way to the "RSKeck's" where abouts today.  After various owners subsequent to Tad Davies/Bill Toews successful fielding of her in the early '60s... being Corvair re-engined/powertrained in the interim (as I'm led to believe)... she found her way into Dr. Julio Palmaz's collection of  fourteen prototype racing Porsches in Napa, CA.

Dr. Julio confirmed the "RSKeck" by chassis serial (550A-104) and by readily identifiable photos of Nade Bourgeault's bodywork I provided.  He advised he's in the process of restoring her to original '56 LeMans Coupe configuration... necessitating the stripping away of Nade's once beautiful body and my chassis modifications.  Hence the demise of the "RSKeck"... and eventual resurrection of her in 5th OA '56 LeMans (car #25) Coupe configuration.

To accomplish this Dr. Julio acknowledged he's managed to acquire the engine (P90099)... a transmission expected to be the one of the type in the four '56 550As originally produced... and '56 sister car (550A-101) to copy for body details.

The attached photos are provided in tribute to Nade... and remembrance of this soon to be (if not already) lost "one-off " example of his fine bodywork.  I've a few more (some while under construction) I can scan and send... if folks are interested."
