"Re:  Chuck Fawcett's photos on Homepage #5 from Torrey Pines.  I believe they are actually from the November 27-28, 1954 Fifth Running rather than the July 9-10, 1955 event."

"The Gullwing Coupe #53 was driven by J.P. Kunstle among others and it is following a Crosley Special #78 driven by Robert Holbrook. Holbrook also drove a Singer on various occasions."
