This must have been an open practice session.  Two production cars lead two small-bore modified cars out of Santa Barbara's Turn 8. 

I couldn't find #149 listed in MotoRacing, Volume 3, #23; but I did learn that #111 is Gerald Lehrer, who finished 10th in the class "F Production" race in his Alfa Romeo Veloce.  #138 is Northern California racer Chuck Howard, 3rd place finisher in the "Under 2-liter" modified car event in a Cooper-Porsche (???).  Car #102 is Jack Nethercutt, 15th place finisher in the "Under 2-liter" race in his Ferrari 500TRC #0708.
