Darwin
When Gordon & Eleanor Newell were
alive their home in Darwin was a welcome oasis and artistic center deep
in the Mojave desert. It was also the perfect staging point for adventures
in Death Valley, the Sierra Nevada, the Saline Valley, and other amazing
desert and mountain destinations.
Other artists joined Gordon & Eleanor
in Darwin and Gordon's sculpture workspace became a very busy place.
Jim Hunolt and Kathy & Henry Woolbert were among those kindred souls.
