The Candlestick Park races always included at least one top national
or international driver. The 1965 event brought not only Hill and
the big-engined
Cobra, but also Jim Hall and his world-class Chaparral racer.
Wester won the race while
Hill DNF'd.
1965 was the last year for the Candlestick Park event because of
two
fatal accidents.
