In spite of this Ferrari's bedraggled
status, Hill was still able
to
qualify #0774 at 2:06.970, almost four seconds faster than his 1959
qualifying time of 2:10.060 in the then far healthier #0768.
#0768
returned for the 1960 event, but was unable to qualify, driven by its new
owner Jack
Nethercutt.
