Bert Kemp and Bill Warren

Can anyone ID these technicians and what they're working on?  Birdcage transaxle?  If so, they were successful in whatever they're doing because neither J. Frank Harrison car suffered transaxle problems during the race.

(2-11-11)   From Willem Oosthoek:

"This photo shows Frank Harrison's chief mechanic Bert Kemp on the left, with cigar.  Kemp was an Englishman who worked for the Hall/Shelby agency in Dallas until he became Harrison's employee in Chattanooga at the end of 1958.

The mechanic on the right looks like another Harrison wrencher, Bill Warren."
