Gordie Glyer -- Homepage

Sacramento, California was the hometown of this Northern California racer.  He started his career in 1957 driving an Austin Healey 100S, then moved up to a 2-liter Ferrari 500TR (#0650).  He had some good finishes in this little Ferrari, but wanted more speed so he bought a 3-liter 250TR (#0718) and went after main event wins.

Gordie's relative, Todd Glyer, now races a Lola T160 in historic Can-Am events.
