Jack Cavanaugh -- Lola "Spirit of Vacaville"

This Class C Lola sports/racer isn't in the event program.  I like the "Spirit of Vacaville"graphic. I don't know if it refers to Vaca Valley Raceway.

(2-20-12)   From Rich Blackmarr:

"The rain spattered windscreen makes it look like the 1968 CanAm weekend.  The 10-68 race program for SCCA Regional support races identifies the car as #19 silver/ blue CSR Lola driven by Jack Cavanaugh.  From studying the photo note on the passenger side the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce sticker and the business sponsor ID Don's __?__, Vacaville plus Grizzly Engineering, Folsom, which stayed involved in race car preparation after Bart Martin's death at Candlestick in 1965."

(2-20-12)   From Jim Cordero:

"The Lola #9 is driven by Jack Cavanaugh. The sign on car says " Ambassadors "...Vacaville Chamber of Commerce. Was involved with Grizzly Engineering in Folsom Ca. They helped propel Bart Martin to his many racing successes."

(2-22-12)   From Jim Cordero:

"The sponsor for Jack Cavanaugh's Lola #19 " The Spirit of Vacaville " was Don's Enco
(a gas station ). Note the tiger image. The company slogan at the time was " Put a tiger in your tank ".

Can anyone ID the driver or add any info to this page?   Please email me!
