Two Porsche 356s came to grief during Saturday's practice session.  This must have led to some exciting moments for Jerry Rosenstock if he was still sitting in his AC Bristol, which he parked at Turn 5 earlier.

#162 is John McIntyre in his 1620cc. 1956 Porsche 356-A; #149 is Leonard Turnbeaugh in his 1620cc. 1958 Porsche 356-A.  Neither started the Group 4A race later on Saturday.

Note how deeply both Porsches are stuck in the "Kitty litter".
