Podell finished 11th in his coupe version of the popular Chevron.  Groza was 6th in his brilliantly-colored bright green Sauber.  This class of early 1970s 2000cc racers is among your webmaster's favorites as these brightly painted cars are extremely photogenic -- plus, they look like they'd be a lot of fun to drive!

8th place finisher William Cotter follows the two smaller cars into Turn 4 in his 1979 Porsche 935-K3.
