Bruce
McCaw in Ferrari 250TR #0768. This car has a long history in
West Coast racing.
Phil
Hill drove it to victory in the 2nd annual "L.A. Times Grand Prix"
at Riverside on Oct. 11, 1959. Owner Eleanor von Neumann (after her
divorce from John) sold #0768 to Jack
Nethercutt. He & Pete Lovely drove it to 3rd
place at Sebring on March 26, 1960. In 1962, Jerry Grant drove
the car for Dick Hahn of Yakima, WA, winning the "Rose Cup" pro race at
Portland on June 17.
Decades later Lovely acquired the car
and campaigned it for years in historic
racing.
