Dr. Mark Brinker's
Devin-Panhard
Dr. Brinker raced this car
at the 2004
Monterey Historics. He's interested in its history. Does
anyone remember "Team (or Ecurie) Escargot"?

From Mark: "I was
hoping you would put a few photos of my Devin Panhard on your Mystery Car
Page as I am trying to uncover the history of the car. The car was found
in a warehouse near the Denver airport in the late 1980s and was purchased
by Bob Pass of Passport Transport." |
 |
"The car was restored and
sold at auction to a doctor from Pittsburg. Later (1999) I bought the car
from the doctor." |
 |
"The photos are of the car
as found in the late 1980s. One clue to its identity may be the snail painted
on the side of the car (Ecurie Escargot?)." |
 |
"When the car was restored
many prior paint colors were uncovered including 2 shades of blue, red,
and white. I hope someone can shed some light on my car's history." |
