Mark Donohue -- Lola T70-Chevy

Roger Penske secured Sunoco sponsorship and moved from driver to owner in 1965.  He very wisely picked Mark Donohue as lead driver, knowing that Donohue combined driving skill with the engineering acumen needed to develop winning racecars.

Donohue finished 4th in the Oct. 28-29-30, 1966 CanAm event at Riverside.
