Bob Oker -- Aston Martin DBR2

Oker had driven earlier-model Aston Martins for Joe Lubin, and had campaigned this car in West Coast events in 1958, winning at Riverside on 6-29-58.

"Mom and I think the guy in the red pants is Dad. Mom can't remember him ever wearing red pants but it looks like his build and the giveaway is his shoes...Moccasins...in those days Dad used handmade Indian moccasins for race shoes. He said they give you great pedal feel...!!  And FYI... Mom's part Indian. 

The guy pushing the car next to Dad in the white outfit is definitely Bill Rudd...close family friend and chief mechanic for all of Joe Lubin's cars. But the guy on the other side of the car in the dark kind of maroon shirt is a puzzle...it's not Joe Lubin...might be Mr. Aston Martin himself:  David Brown...?? And BTW...they did run the DBR2 once on the East Coast...at Lime Rock. Dad placed 2nd overall in the main event in the car right as it came right off the boat in New York. The caption in the attached photo is wrong... that's Dad...not George Constantine. And...as I said...he was 2nd...
