Chris Cox -- Ferrari 1958 412MI -- Engine

It doesn't get any better than this.  The 412MI's engine features a super-high compression ratio of 9.9:1.  With 4 cams, 24 sparkplugs, two distributors, and six dual-throat Weber carburetors, this super-impressive 4023cc. unit produces 440 HP, the most of any front-engined Ferrari sports/racer.

This year, a select few heard this engine really scream.
