Don Hulette to Drive "Townsend Typhoon"!

Owen "Gene" Gibson  has completed restoration of his "Townsend Typhoon" Special and entered the car in this year's "Monterey Historics".  SoCal racing legend Don Hulette will emulate his old rival Bill Krause and come out of a 40+ year retirement to drive Gibson's car.

From Gene Gibson:  "Don Hulette has agreed to come out of a 40+ year retirement to drive the "Typhoon" in it debut at Monterey . The car is at test and tune now.  Also the proof that the car was at Laguna Seca was found late last year:  Pole Position, June 1959.  Also found 1957 Phoenix pictures."  (Note Ak Miller in Devin-Olds sharing front row with Voevodsky in the "Typhoon".  TM)
