| From Trenor: "I started racing in California in 1957 with
an Austin Healey 100-6. My first outing was at Paramount Ranch, where
the California Sports Car Club was organizing an event for anyone with
a sports car to run some fast laps on that track, and at the same time
earn a racing license. The photo shows me with my car in the pit
area. In the background, you can see an ambulance circa 1957."
