The best shots are the ones you don't plan.  Your webmaster was conscientiously shooting "Motion Blurs" of cars passing colorful signage in the "Esses" (none of these shotsended up being worth posting) when he noticed the wild action going on behind him.

Big-engined Can-Am cars and their 2-liter challengers were battling hard exiting the "Caroussel"  in Saturday's best race.   Click, click, click, just random shots; no re-setting of the camera; still using the "Motion Blur" settings -- and blind luck and opportunism yielded your webmaster's favorite shot of the weekend.
