Wexler Crew at Laguna Seca
This looks like a happy group. I don't know if this photo was
taken at the May 8, 1966 USRRC event where Davey
Jordan drove the car to
4th place, or the October 16th Can-Am event where Jordan DNF'd
with a blown engine. (From the smiling faces, this looks like
the USRRC race. It also looks chilly, which could be any time of year in
the Monterey area.)
If anyone can ID the cheerful folks shown here (or comment): Please

"In the group photo at Laguna Seca I believe the gentleman in the
red jacket is Haskell, I don't know who the woman is wearing the hoodie.
The woman in the Goodyear Racing Jacket is my mother, Dona Hotchkiss.
I believe the woman behind her is Davey Jordan's wife but I could be wrong.
The gentleman with his arms crossed is my father Vince Hotchkiss,
the Chief Mechanic for the car, and of course next to him is the driver
Davey Jordan." |
