Smith won this event easily both days in his 1500cc. car.  ERA stands for "English Racing Automobile" and was an effort by Pre-WWII British enthusiasts to challenge Continental domination of the 1500cc. "Voiturette" class.  Smith leads lapped traffic through "Infineon Raceway's" Turn 2 during Sunday's race.
