Nick Colonna of Palos Verdes Estates, CA, in his 3800cc. 1958 Lister-Jaguar leads Brent Backman of Jackson Hole, WY, in his 3870cc. 1957 Lister-Jaguar.  Colonna's car wasn't running at the finish of Sunday's race and he was awarded 23rd place.  Backman finished 18th.

Colonna's car looks like the ex-Cunningham car driven by Chuck Daigh in the 1960 "L.A. Times Grand Prix" held at Riverside Raceway on October 16, 1960.
