Charles McCabe of San Francisco, CA, drives the 2500cc. ex-Jim Hall Lotus Mk.18-Climax through Turn 2.  He finished 13th. 

When Colin Chapman wouldn't provide him with a F1 Lotus for the 1960 USGP at Riverside, Hall famously bought a Cooper Monaco, extracted the 2.5 Climax engine, and placed it in a Lotus Mk.18 F-II car.  On his way to a 5th place finish, a rear axle broke on the last lap and he limped home 7th.
