Mac Archer of Carmel, CA, in his 7000cc. 1965 Cobra 427 finished second in the race, just nipping Derek Bell's Cobra Daytona Coupe at the finish line.  Mac recently refurbished the Cobra after nearly 20 years of historic racing.
