Nick Colonna -- 1958 Lister-Jaguar
Spinout in Turn 5!
Colonna finds the oil and starts to
spin. Peter Giddings had spun
his 1955 Maserati 300S in the same spot shortly before and many other
cars got "twitchy" here during this session.
Colonna goes all the way around and
slides into the gravel trap.
Colonna comes to a stop pointed in the
wrong direction. I wonder if drivers ever get disoriented and take
off the wrong way on the racetrack?
No harm done, Colonna returns to the
course as Wes Abendroth in his
1957 Sadler Mk.II- Chevrolet rumbles past.
