Marnix Dellenius of Palo Alto, CA, in his 1964 Alfa-Romeo GTZ1 leads Phil Scheinberg of Santa Barbara, CA, in his 1966 Corvette Stingray through Turn 5.  Dellenius, along with David Love, is one of the few drivers to compete in every Monterey Historics since the inaugural event in 1974.  Dellenius finished 25th.
