Conferencing to Enthusiasts -- Auto Museums Around The World

Automobiles have been around for quite a long time. In fact, most experts agree that the first car which was suitable for use on public roads was developed in the late 19th century.  Since then, our love of and fascination with cars has continued to increase. While most of us rely on our vehicles simply as a mode of transportation, some individuals view them as works of art. For these people, viewing classic or unique cars in pristine shape is a popular hobby. Individuals who are interested in seeing some of the most famous cars in the world should visit various car museums both in the United States, and abroad.

United States Auto Museums

There is no question that there are a number of museums in the United States strictly devoted to the automobile. Some of the most popular of these include the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine, and the National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada. Individuals who are interested in more unique museums may want to visit the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California, which specializes in famous TV and movie cars, or the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As suggested by the name, the only cars allowed at this museum are those which have been produced by Corvette.

International Auto Museums

Individuals who are up for more of an adventure may want to travel to some international car museums. As in the United States, there are a number of high-quality and fascinating sites around the world for individuals who have a love of cars. Specifically, the Volkswagen Autostadt, in Wolfsburg, Germany, and Mercedes-Benz Museum in Sttugart, Germany, are especially popular.
