"The Costin Lister currently owned by Rob Kaufman is BHL 121, the prototype Costin. Originally sold to a guy in Rhodesia, raced in Africa, back to the UK,restored, raced, to the States, eventually to Pat Hart in 1999. Tony Garmey restored the car (painted white with a metallic blue center stripe) and raced the car very successfully in Seattle, Portland & Monterey…best placed Lister at Monterey the year Stirling Moss crashed the Aston DBR1 as I remember … Pat died and eventually the family sold the car on to ( I assume ) Canepa who had it for sale, returned to its original color scheme. I see Kaufman has it entered for the 2014 Motorsport Reunion - I'm really looking forward to seeing it again!"
