I don't recall how Joe Freitas fared in this Genie, a car usually associated with Jerry Titus.

This Genie-Corvair first appeared at the 1962 fall pro races at Riverside and Laguna Seca driven by Paul O'Shea.  It failed to qualify at either event.  I remember it mainly for its loud, piercing exhaust note.  It hurt my ears even relatively far away in the spectator area. 

When Jerry Titus drove it the car was fast, but never found reliability.

Joe Huffaker Sr. is now restoring it.
