Schield was the only "big banger" to compete in the wet Group 6 race
on Saturday. He finished
8th in his Shelby.
Many had run in the Group
6 practice under grey, menacing skies in the morning, None
ran on
Sunday.
Haney DNF'd after completing three laps in his
Datsun sedan.
