With heavy rain forecast for Saturday, and clearing on Sunday, General Racing adjusted the schedule.   Saturday became an all-practice day and all races were run on Sunday.

The pre-war cars of Group 1B suffered less in Saturday's deluge than others: Their narrow ribbed tires effectively cut through the water.  In some groups, few (or none) of the entrants availed themselves of their allotted practice time.

In Sunday's Group 1B race, Shalvoy came in 6th, Larson finished 4th.  Info on their race.
