A lap later Boden had passed both Shirley and Feiber, both solid west coast historic racers.  I didn't expect much from the Tipo 63, as no one had EVER gotten one to run right on the west coast (On the east coast, Briggs Cunningham's wizard-in-chief Alfred Momo somehow made a winner of the even more intractable V12 version of the car.).
