Beautiful and photogenic cars, just not my passion.  I attended the last "Unlimited" Can-Am race at Laguna Seca in October 1973.  After that, regulations and the rule book ruled racing.  Then I attended the first "Monterey Historics" in August, 1974.  Perfect segue.  The end of unfettered evolution, and the beginnings  of nostalgia.
