I
don't know how much testing MacAllister did (probably a lot) before his
ERA's debut here, but the car had no apparent "teething problems" and
seemed to need no "sorting out". With his car fast "out of the
box" and very well driven, MacAllister outraced and outlasted the
others and won the event.
