A
bad day for Lister-Chevys in the Riverside esses.
Constantine, a
well-known east coast driver, was running near the front in
this fierce car when he stopped due to fuel-injection failure or overheating (I've seen both listed as the cause of his DNF).
Damage repaired, Constantine had a very strong run at the next week's "Pacific Grand Prix" at Laguna Seca. He
even led the race for a lap before he was caught and passed by winner Stirling Moss.
