Ken Miles in MG with Roger Barlow

Can anyone ID the gentleman visiting with young Ken?   How about the MG Ken's driving?

"Note the tag on Ken Miles MG license plate says 53, which confirms the year of the event as probably 1953."

"It is Roger Barlow with Miles."
