"The "Jaguar Special" is in fact the
Seifried Special -- driven by Bob Path, powered by a flathead Merc. This
was the last time I remember seeing it, and the only time with this paint
job (previously it was solid red). The date is '54."

track roadster but was converted into a sports car, with the emphasis on
racing. The conversion was a neat, clean work, especially as it was
a steel body, and the car won on oval tracks against rivals with more power".
