Phil Hill: Ferrari 860 Monza #0604 M -- Pebble Beach, April 22, 1956

Hill finished 2nd in the "Del Monte Cup" at Pebble Beach on April 22, 1956 in John von Neumann's 3432cc. Ferrari 860 Monza #0604.  Carroll Shelby won the race in Dick Hall's 3-liter Ferrari Monza.  Ernie McAfee was killed during the event in Bill Doheny's Ferrari 121LM leading to the end of racing on the tree-lined Pebble Beach course.
