Building Larry's "Desert House" -- 15

Today (2004) Larry lives in his structurally complete but still unfinished house.
 

Here's the living room on a winter day.  Plenty of light & heat are streaming in.

Next for Larry are finishing the house's plumbing & electrical and then installing the marble flooring.

Someday, he'll finish the hot tub, too.  Then visiting him up in Darwin will really be pleasant.
 
Here's a night shot of the kitchen area.

Note the 12x12 post and the heavy beam sup- porting the rafters.

The house is already comfortable, and when the multiple small projects needed to finish it are complete, it'll be a great desert residence.
