BRM Team: Dan
Gurney, Jo Bonnier, and Graham Hill
The 1960
USGP wasn't a happy outing for the BRM
boys. Gurney
qualified 3rd but DNF'd after 18 laps with a blown core plug; G.
Hill qualified 11th but DNF'd after 34 laps with gearbox woes; Bonnier
qualified 4th and was running a strong 2nd to Moss until engine trouble
slowed him, he struggled on to finish 5th.
