A well-known shot of Parsons winning at Vaca Valley Raceway on August 18-19, 1961.  Your webmaster remembers seeing this photo in a magazine or race program "back in the day".

Parsons sold his Maserati "Birdcage" to Dan Prades after the 1961 Pacific Grand Prix.  The amateur Prades competed sporadicially in the car until 1963.
