In Dave Norton's photo (shot with a Kodak Instamatic), Parsons rounds Turn 7 at Laguna Seca on his way to victory in the June 8-9, 1963 USRRC event.  He beat or outlasted Jerry Grant, Dave Ridenour, Skip Hudson, Don Wester, and others.
