The Bill Krause Corvette Today

The silver #4 car (shown with #3 here) is owned by former Rockwell-Standard (Assigned to GM's Corvette Program) Spring Designer Franz Estereicher.  He was on the team that improved the Rear Transverse Spring design.

(1-8-09)  From Franz Estereicher:  "I wasn’t assigned to Chevrolet engineering until 1968 and immediately began improving the transverse spring concept. In addition, I had design responsibility for all GM Corvette service requirements for; leaf springs, stabilizer bars and coil springs dating back to 1953.
