Love has been racing his Ferrari since 1964.  He won the "main event" at the very first "Monterey Historics" at Laguna Seca in 1974.  He has yet to miss a "Monterey Historics, and as far as your webmaster knows, he hasn't missed a "Wine Country Classic" either.

Love finished 18th.  He leads #24, Richard Ruff in his 1100cc. 1959 Lotus Mk.11, and #32, Stan Anderes in his 1460cc. 1956 Lotus Mk.11 LeMans.  Ruff finished 14th; Anderes finished 17th.
