Colonna finished 11th in his 4639cc. car.  He leads 15th place finisher Brent Brackman in his 3870cc. 1958 Lister Jaguar "Knobbly".

The bulbous Costin body was designed to make the 1959 Lister aerodynamically "slippier" than the 1958 car.  With the additional frontal area, the later car was actually SLOWER on the straight than its rough-hewn earlier sibling.  Both designs suffered from front-end lift at high speeds.
