On Track Demos -- Toyota F1 & GT Cars

Ricardo Zonta drove the the TF 106 Panasonic Toyota Formula 1 car to a new Mazda Raceway (Laguna Seca) lap record of 1:06.596.  The 30-year old Brazilian beat Helio Castroneves previous record of 1:07.722 (set in 2000 in a CART Championship car).
  
Zonta in the corkscrew.  The screaming F1 car put on a great crowd-pleasing show!
  
Toyota GT cars also circulated on the course.  #23, the GT2000 was campaigned in 1968 by ace California drivers Scooter Patrick and Davey Jordan

Juan Manuel Fangio II drove #98, the 1987 Celica GTO that dominated IMSA racing in its class during that era.
