Dan Gurney's Lotus Mk.19-Ford

The last of the Lotus Mk.19 cars to be constructed, Gurney's car was built specifically for Ford V8 power.

The combination of Gurney's driving skill, Lotus handling, and Ford power made the "Pace- setter" a leader in the 1964 Fall pro races.  "Pacesetter" was a good choice for a name (It came from Gurney's sponsor "Pacesetter Homes") as the car often "set the pace" early in a race but was rarely around at the finish.

The car is owned & raced in historic events by Gordon & Nancy Gimbel.
